How to keep your skin healthy and Acne free

Healthy skin is itself a blessing for everyone especially for ladies but nowadays due to pollution and unhealthy environment its quite difficult for one to keep skin healthy and clear. Dirt is everywhere which damages our skin.Vibrant healthy skin has a youthful glow, good coloring, and a smooth, unblemished look. However, unhealthy skin can look shallow, tired, wrinkled, and older than its actual age. No one wants unhealthy skin, but since so many people fail to understand its causes far too many people are suffering from it. Numerous things can cause unhealthy skin but the main causes are an unhealthy diet, an ineffectual cleansing routine, and poor lifestyle habits.

There are plenty of reasons which causes unhealthy skin that may involve:
  • Poor Hygiene:
Bad hygiene can be a causes of unhealthy skin and it may include not washing your face several times a day, not taking  bath daily and applying a good moisturiser after bath Clogged pores result in breakouts, dry skin, and the reduction of cell renewal..Make sure that you wash your face At least twice a day and apply day cream at day time and night cream at bed time so that it keep mosturising you skin all night.
  • Sun Tan:
Sunburn can also be a cause of poor skin as UV rays coming from sun can damage skin and cause blemishes on skin and uneven skin tone as well.
Excessive exposure to ultra violate rays (UVA and UVB) of the sun accelerates melanin production in the skin that leads to darkening of exposed skin. Sun tan usually occurs on body parts that are exposed to sun such as, face, neck, arms, and legs. Sun tan causes various skin problems such as:
  • Acne
  • Pimples
  • Fine Lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Dark Spots
  • Hyper pigmentation
  • Premature Aging of Skin
  • Skin Burn
  • In extreme cases it can lead to skin cancer

Cucumber, Rose Water and Lemon Juice Pack:

This is one of the most effective homemade face masks for sun tan removal that uses the goodness of cucumber and lemon – two perfect natural bleaching agents. Lemon juice is a rich source of vitamin C and citric acid, both of which help in lightening skin tone and is the natural solution to the question of how to maintain clear skin. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes the damage caused be free radicals and helps in lightening tan, age spots, and dark spots. But it is a must to use a sunscreen with high SPF when using a lemon remedy because the acidic nature of the juice can make the skin sensitive to the UV rays of the sun.
  • Poor Health:
our skin is a living, breathing organ of the body and it needs proper nourishment and hydration to look and feel its best. When your skin is deprived of the necessary vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that it needs it is unable to functional at optimal levels and the structure slowly begins to break down. This breakdown results in dry skin, blemishes, discoloration, wrinkles, and premature ageing.
In order to avoid this breakdown you need to feed your skin a varied mix of important nutrients each day. Ingesting sufficient amounts of vitamin A, a nutrient that can be found in citrus fruits and orange vegetables, can help you avoid dry skin and blemishes. Eating foods rich in the vitamin B group like brewer's yeast or breads, or taking a vitamin B group supplement, can help you ward of skin discoloration, dry skin, dermatitis, shallow skin, and premature ageing.

To help discourage wrinkles, pale skin, sun damage, blemishes, and other unhealthy skin symptoms, nutrients like calcium, protein, iodine, niacin, folic acid, iron, and copper are very important to a healthy diet. Get these effective skin helpers by enjoying foods like mild, eggs, cheese, chicken, fish, leafy vegetables, fruits, and grains.

  • High Water Consumption:
Regular and plentiful water consumption can improve the color and texture of your skin by keeping it building new cells properly. Drinking water also helps the skin do it's job of regulating the body's temperature through sweating. Feed your body.Water is essential for the proper circulation of nutrients in the body. The European Food Safety Authority recommends that women should drink about 1.6 litres of fluid and men should drink about 2.0 litres of fluid per day. That's about eight glasses of 200 ml each for a woman, and 10 glasses of 200 ml each for a man. When you are properly hydrated (proper hydration equates to eight glasses a day for women), it makes your skin more radiant.

  • Fresh juices:

Ideally, a balanced diet and lots of fluid intake serve as the key to a healthy body and amazing skin. A balanced diet includes food that contains the right amount of nutrients and vitamins along with minerals. The recent popular trend to drink healthy juices gives your skin a natural sheen and glow. These are packed with vitamins, enzymes, and other essential nutrients, the right healthy juice can be your secret of glowing skin.

One of the reasons why the skin becomes dull and saggy is decreasing collagen in the skin as we age. One of my favorite ways to boost collagen production is by making this “Glowing Skin” juice with the following ingredients:
  • Red cabbage, orange and lime are very high in vitamin C which helps boost collagen, and powerful antioxidants, which protect cells from free radical damage.
  • Beetroot contains zinc and copper which are vital for a healthy skin. Beetroot also helps cleanse and restore the liver, which is considered a primary detoxifying organ.

  • Daily Exercises:

By increasing blood flow, exercise helps nourish skin cells and keep them vital. "Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to working cells throughout the body, including the skin," says Marmur. In addition to providing oxygen, blood flow also helps carry away waste products, including free radicals, from working cells.Exercise helps cut stress, which may contribute to acne outbreaks. Physical activity also helps your skin by increasing your blood circulation, which sends more oxygen to your skin cells and carries cell waste away. But keep in mind that sweat from exercise can also lead to breakouts by irritating your skin.Your pores open up when you sweat and that releases the buildup inside them. According to Dele-Michael, “Sweat purges the body of toxins that can clog pores and plague the skin with pimples and blemishes.” These skin benefits only apply to mild or moderate sweating. In fact, exercise is one of the most important parts of keeping your body at a healthy weight. Exercise helps people lose weight and lower the risk of some diseases. Exercising to maintain a healthy weight decreases a person's risk of developing certain diseases, including type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
