Acne is a most common problem in teens nowadays but it effects people of all ages. This problem is due to disturb level of hormones in our body. we somehow get rid of Acne but the main problem is acne scars which is actually very scary.Causes of acne involves unhealthy eating habits like junk foods, too much stress, less consumption of water and vegetables, insomnia, sleep deprivation etc.

Here i have some useful home remedies with the help of which one can get clear skin and quick acne treatment at home.

1. Vicks

Yes Vicks, i know it is little bit surprising but vicks on pimples actually works. By applying vicks on pimple you can get amazing results. you will see difference not only in appearance, but in facial comforts (yes, really!). it reduces swelling of pimple and shrinks it overnight. Just apply vicks on your pimple and leave it for overnight.

2.Toothpaste and Baking Soda:

• The clotting property of toothpaste reduces redness and swelling and prevents bacteria from spreading to other skin pores.
• It dries out and shrinks the pimples.
• It contains triclosan (antibacterial property) and a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, which kills the bacteria (especially P.acne bacteria causing acne).
• The cleansing and absorbent properties draws out pimples from the pores.
• It’s bleaching heal the acne and other dark spots on the skin.
• It contains baking soda which exfoliates impurities, and balances the skin’s pH level.
• Silica in it has anti-inflammatory properties and heals the damaged skin

Method:  Toothpaste and Baking Soda. Mix 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon of toothpaste, and 2 teaspoons water until smooth. Apply a thin layer over each pimple and leave it on for 5 – 10 minutes. Rinse with water and pat dry. Repeat the process regularly.

3.Ice on acne:

The ice helps the inflammation and the redness of the pimple. Icing can help diminish the size of the pores by constricting the blood vessels underneath the skin and will help prevent new bacteria from entering and causing more pimples. This will not cure acne but it will lessen the inflammation and help speed up the healing process.

4. Fuller's earth:

Firstly, fullers earth is not a new substance. It is a common or usual name for calcium mintmorillonite that has always been used for various kinds of beautification purposes. This is actually a sedimentary clay component that is only available from natural sources. Being naturally made, this clay is known to have high percentage of alumina, silica , water , magnesia , iron and oxides. All these components ensure that it is extremely beneficial in Acne Scar removal. The clay has a grayish color and needs to be mixed with a water based substance before application. It is important, as the clay on its own is an extremely drying  agent and may end up over drying the skin.

Method: Mix one and a half spoon of fuller earth with any water component. Opt for rose water in summers as it will cool the skin and make it look fresher. You can also go for milk if you think that the clay pack might end up drying up your skin too much. Otherwise, you can also mix it with a seasonal fruit juice like orange juice, which will aid in removing the tan.
